Defibrillator Training Sessions

Defibrillators are valuable resources which help to save lives. There are a number located around the parish including ones at Riverside Park and Hayfield Park. Auckley Parish Council would like to organise a training session to help people become familiar with these easy to use machines. Please register your interest in attending with the Clerk.

D Day 80 Anniversary

At the meeting on the 13th of September, the Council decided to explore options on how to mark the D Day 80 anniversary (6th June 2024). D Day saw the start of the allied invasion of Northern France by means of the beach landings in Normandy.

The Council will orgnanise a separate public meeting with the aim of discussing the anniversary and the options/ideas to mark it. The Council would like to invite residents to attend and contribute to this meeting. Please look out for further details or contact the Clerk to be kept informed.

Thank You to the Auckley Show

As always the Council would like to thank the Auckley Show Committee for organising the Auckley Show. The show took place on the 19th of August and was enjoyed by the many people that attended. The variety and quantity of exhibits was impressive. The time and effort put in by the volunteers of the Show Committee is commended.
