Recreation Park at Hayfield Lane
The site is still owned by Peel Holdings, and therefore the Parish Council is limited in what action it can take until the handover of the land takes place. Flooding at this entrance has been a problem for a number of years. Peel’s Development Director has organised a number of drainage surveys and infiltration tests, and the engineer is working up some design solutions, and he is hopeful that remedial works will take place in the new year.
Remembrance Sunday
The Parish Council funded a poppy wreath, plus a donation to the Royal British Legion. The wreath was laid at the foot of the Blaxton War Memorial by Councillor Gary Warrender on Remembrance Sunday.
